Safer Conditions for Families: A New Crosswalk in East Dallas

Families at Lumin Lindsley Park Community School saw a safety problem in front of their school and organized to fix it. Their advocacy with the City of Dallas has paid off. A new crosswalk now helps students and families get to and from school more safely.

DAI is proud to partner with Lumin Education and parent leaders. At the heart of our work is neighbors naming a concern, building relationships with decision-makers, and making a change that improves the community.
